Press release

Our team is thrilled to announce the commencement of the European program titled ” Sustainable agriculture – bio-agriculture: two powerful tools to fight climate change.” The program is co-funded by Erasmus+ to carry out actions and activities aimed at:

– Reducing the impacts of agriculture on the ecosystem and climate change (mitigation), and

– Reducing the impacts of climate change on agriculture (adaptation).

To achieve these goals, smart tools (digital and non-digital) will be utilized. Through parallel activities (information and awareness campaigns, involvement of marginalized groups in public life, creative and experiential workshops, subject-specific education, etc.), the concepts of sustainable agriculture and organic farming will be introduced to the target audience.

The program will span 18 months. Already from the initial days, members of Growthnest have begun designing actions and approaching the groups-targets. Approximately 90 individuals are expected to be involved, including students, both with and without formal education, all permanent residents of our municipality, and primarily young people with fewer opportunities.
